Greenwood RTVB

By 2016, the Greenwood tourism product had developed to a point where we could use the destination itself as a draw, not just the events. Because of this, we could now reach out beyond one-hour dive market, to encourage overnight stays in Greenwood.  In 2017, we created a new campaign that would speak to people who were not familiar with Greenwood. It was broken into two time frames, spring (April and May) and fall (October and November). The media mix consisted of digital banner ads, video ads, social media ads, SEM (search engine marketing), print and outdoor.

The 2017 campaigns were our most successful to date, driving 25,701 website clicks.

The Great American Eclipse

This was a very rare and successful event for Greenwood. It was equally exciting for Springboard because we were able to create and control every aspect of the brand and marketing. We created the logo, website, ads, flyer and social media content. The website served as the information hub for this event. We created it early enough and SEO friendly, so it ranked high with search engines. We also listed it with other eclipse websites, so people could find it easily.

The ad campaign consisted of SEM search engine marketing), Facebook ads and digital banner ads. The overall CTR (click through rate) was 2.62%, which blew away the industry average of 0.08%. The website received 32,538 website clicks and attendance for the event was off the charts.

Our fees for creative development, project management and media services were $1,150

SC Festival of Flowers

In 2014 Springboard was brought in handle the Festival’s marketing efforts. The branding had already been created, our goal was to create a multi-channel ad campaign. The ad campaign consisted of cable TV, digital banner ads, Facebook ads and a new technology at the time, expandable, interactive banner ad. The ad is basically a website all in one ad. When a person scrolls over one of our ads (top and middle), the ad expands and offer the viewer all types of information (bottom), a listing of events, video, photos and links to everything needed.

The budget was cut from the previous year by $1,000 but we increased website clicks from 11,753 to 12,780.

Our fees for creative development, project management and media services were $3,000.

Myrtle Beach CVB

The group sales department at the Myrtle Beach Chamber selected Springboard to create their first ever multi-channel ad campaign. The campaign had to include ads for all facets of their group business, meeting/conference, sports and group/motor coach.

The ad campaign consisted of digital banner ads, email marketing, and print ads. Group Sales saw the number of

inquiries jump 38%. Our ads ranked in the top 10% of all the ads in M&C Magazine according to Signet Ad Study.

Our fees for creative development, project management and media services were $7,500

Brunswick County, NC Chamber of Commerce

Springboard was selected to design the Chamber’s 32-page visitor’s guide. At the time, they did not have a consistent and strong brand across all of their marketing tools, which consisted of their visitor’s guide, website and a couple of print ads.

We went above and beyond just designing the guide, we created a cohesive brand with a new slogan. Requests for their new visitor’s guide spiked as did their website traffic and phone calls to the chamber.

Our fees for creative development (which included creating a 32-page visitors guide), and project management were $10,000

Fairfield County, SC Chamber of Commerce

This member-driven Chamber needed a strong brand and slogan that captured the essence of their county. This would help drive new memberships and bring the county together. Fairfield’s most recognizable icon is their town clock. The slogan Springboard came up with was “Time Well Spent”. We designed the logo, slogan, the header for their website and eblast and a stationary package.

Chamber membership increased by 40% within a year.

Our fees for creative development and project management were $4,500

St. Johns County, FL VCB

Brett Jones was hired as a freelance-creative director by a Florida ad agency for the creative development. The goal was to create a new brand for this beach-side destination. I created the logo based on a Spanish tile design, Since the area is known for its history and was first discovered by Spanish explorers it made sense. The stucco and palm fronds felt like a perfect fit for this classic Florida destination.

The creative was well received and used for many years. The logo is still in use today.
